I wonder what the name of the town, on the beach you are describing, but it sounds like a heavenly ski resort with wind-chill factor in the alp or breezy springtime in the States. Overlooking the Indonesian Ocean, hum..where could it be? Imagine returning to the misty past at IKIP, studying harder, or if i had my life to live over again at the early stage of my formative years, i'd probably try to study more content- oriented disciplines, everything else but English. I'm intrigued by your academic success, hopefully, you are enjoying the same success in life. You don't have to go far in search of glory and be happy, you can easily get it where you come from(your homr town Blitar) or you can find it where you are just like John Burroughs says" The great oppurtinity is where you are. Do not despise your own place and hour. Every place is under the stars, every place is the center of the world. I'm so proud of you for what you've accomplihed and your ability to reconcile your religious views and all the empirical experiments and all the disciplines you've come to embrace and grapple with. If you give God all the credit, as a friend, i want to give you some of the credit. I'll catch you next time, dude.
